The festival at the Courthouse Plazas in downtown, held last Friday, 15 and Saturday 16 of September, celebrated the cultural heritage of the Latin American community residing in Kentucky. This year’s festival strongly relied on local artists to shoulder the bulk of events. The organizing committee was right in its decision to focus on providing space to local artist to share their performances; and they did not disappoint. As result: a colorful festival hoping to grow and get better every year.
Great performance from MC’s Cirse Perdomo on animation altogether with Dj power and a new and improved stage and sound provided serious improvement to the Festival.
This event marks the beginning of a series of events celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States and Kentucky.
